All employers in Ontario must carry out an assessment of First Aid needs to ensure they conform to the requirements laid out in the Alberta (OHS) Occupational Health and Safety Code (2009) (AR 87/2009), including the self-employed and those with fewer than 5 employees.

We strongly recommend that you include non-employees present on your premises (i.e., the public, contractors, etc.) when determining which First Aid Kit you should buy. Other requirements may be in effect for those working in specific industries such as on pipelines, offshore or diving, or those under Federal jurisdiction. The following is a brief summary to help you select the appropriate kit; if you have any questions please contact us or the Ontario OHS directly. All of our First Aid Kits meet or exceed minimum Provincial requirements for content and Health Canada standards.

If you have a business in Ontario, you must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act’s Regulation 1101 under Section 3 of the WSIB Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. As a business owner, it is your responsibility to ensure that your employees have access to adequate first aid supplies at all times. Requirements are based on the type of business and how many people are employed. Regardless of what type of first aid kit the business needs, it is important to make sure the kits are monitored for adequate supply levels on a regular basis to ensure they stay within the regulations. Whether you are in need of a kit refill, complete kit or first aid station, we can help with:

  • 1-5 EMPLOYEES FIRST AID KIT
  • 6-15 EMPLOYEES FIRST AID KIT
  • 16-199 EMPLOYEES FIRST AID KIT
