Our Confined Space Rescue course is delivered as a combined program covering all topics from both the Entry / Monitor and the Rescue course. This program provides and understanding of Pre-entry planning, permitting, identification of spaces, hazards, evaluation of hazards, common control techniques for hazards, codes of practice, Legislation, and terminology used in confined space work. Practical skill development focuses on inspection and use of breathing apparatus, body harness, isolation systems and physical rescues from a restricted space. All Confined Space Rescue team members must meet all of the training requirements of confined space entry training with the addition of the following requirements:

The confined space rescue team must be trained in the use of P.P.E required for rescue operations for permit spaces. P.P.E required might be respirators, fall arrest systems, ropes and backboards.
The confined space rescue team must be trained in the first aid and medical skills needed to treat victims overcome or injured by the types of hazards encountered in the permit space. Typically CPR and First Aid training is sufficient training for the Confined Space Rescue Team.
This course is taught as an add on, Student must have a current Confined Space Entry/Monitor certificate to attend.
